Description

This is a mid-19th century block of terraced buildings, originally numbers 7 to 12 Emmanuel Road, and including number 1 Earl Street. The buildings are constructed of grey gault brick and comprise a uniform block with 14 windows arranged in a 5:3:6 bay pattern. The three-bay section of number 10 has a pediment at parapet level. All windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and numbers 7, 8, and 9 have external shutters on both the ground and first floors. The doorways are round-headed, and number 10 incorporates an archway leading to the rear. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
