Description

The tomb of William Crowe, located at Mill Road Cemetery, dates from around 1859. It is constructed from stone and features a plain, massive ledged sarcophagus that is supported by four legs standing on a moulded base. The tomb includes inscription panels dedicated to William Crowe, who died in 1859, and to Elizabeth Crowe. The unusual sarcophagus form and the stone, which displays very prominent crystals, contribute to its distinctive character.
