Description

The Tomb of Harry Hall at Mill Road Cemetery is a stone monument dating from around 1863. It features a stepped pedestal on a low plinth, with a slightly tapering shaft that is topped by a garlanded urn. On the front of the shaft, there is a relief depicting an angel carrying an infant, which is inspired by Bertel Thorvaldsen's relief of 'Night'. The tomb includes an inscription dedicated to Harry Hall, who died in 1863.
