Description

Henry Martyn Hall, built in 1887 by E S Prior, is located on the south side of Market Street. The building features a flint exterior with stone dressings and includes a tall oriel window at the corner topped with an embattled, pinnacled crown. The design incorporates a Gothic arcade and windows. Inside, there is an enormous fireplace with flues that are diverted around a window directly above it, which is characteristic of Prior's style.
