Description

Wheeler's House is a 15th-century Wealden hall house that has been extensively altered in the 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features former crosswings that oversail, although the original jetties remain visible. There is a jettied extension to the south. The house has a range of four 19th-century casement windows and a 16th-century red brick chimney stack with four diagonal shafts.
