Description

The Statue of Queen Victoria is a stone statue erected in 1898 to commemorate the Queen's jubilee, presented to the town by Alderman B Tolhurst. The statue depicts the Queen enthroned and pointing towards the sea. It is set on a tall pedestal that features ornamental 'Gothic' blank arcading.
