Description
Manor Farmhouse, dating from the 16th or 17th century, is an L-shaped building constructed from coursed stone and topped with a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof featuring coped gable ends. The farmhouse is one storey high with an attic and has a long range of six windows. At the west end, there is a gabled cross wing marked with the date "1660" in the gable. The building includes a two-storey canted bay made of ashlar, with a gable and ovolo moulded mullion windows. There is also a stone gabled dormer and three- and four-light ovolo moulded stone mullion windows with cornices. The entrance features a moulded stone door surround with a 4-centred arch. To the east, there is an extension likely from the 18th century, which has an elliptical arch carriageway with a keyblock and large panelled doors, along with two gabled dormers. Ashlar stacks with cornices are present on the roof. Adjoining the east end is a roofless stone outbuilding, probably from the 18th or 19th century, which serves as a screen and is included for its group value.
