Description
This building consists of a barn and former dairy ranges, now converted into a dwelling, located to the east side of the stock yard, approximately 20 metres north of Home Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century and late 19th century. The structure is made of coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features Collyweston stone slated roofs. The barn has parapet gables and two hipped roof projections or porches on the west side, with a lean-to between them. The east elevation has two double boarded doors that are partly blocked, along with blocked ventilation slits. The attached single-storey dairy ranges on the east side partly enclose a small yard and have been converted into a dwelling, featuring five casement windows and a boarded door. The farm was rebuilt in the 18th century by the Duke of Bedford.
