Description

The Royal Hotel is an 18th-century building located at 53 Westgate in Peterborough. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with a dentil eaves cornice. The hotel has two storeys, attics, and a basement, and is accented by a plain stone band and rusticated quoins. The façade includes three gabled dormers and five windows that are framed with a moulded architrave, each topped with a rectangular fanlight. There are steps leading to the entrance, which is complemented by an iron railing.
