Description

The White Horse Public House is located on the west side of Cumbergate in Peterborough. It features a roof pitch from the 18th century, but the building mainly consists of late 19th-century work. The exterior is rendered and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The structure has two storeys and includes two 6-light windows with wooden mullions. There is a sign with the name of the pub positioned between the storeys. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light windows typical of public houses. The entrance has a modern Tudor-style four-centred doorway, and there is a rendered plinth at the base. This building is included in the listing for its group value, as it is part of a collection of listed buildings along Cumbergate.
