Description

The White House is an 18th-century timber-frame house with a rendered upper portion and a brick ground floor. It has a thatched roof with gabled ends. The house is two storeys high with an attic. Originally, it had a three-window front, now featuring modern casement windows with glazing bars. A central, gabled brick porch with a thatched roof provides access via a fielded panel door. An attic window sits in the gable end, and there’s an external brick stack at the opposite end. The building was formerly the White Hart Inn.
