Description

Barnack Windmill, built around 1797, is a tower mill that was last used in 1914 and underwent restoration from 1959 to 1962. It features coursed stone construction with battered walls and a metal-clad ogee-shaped cap. The windmill stands five storeys tall and has small flat-arched window openings, along with doorways on the ground and first floors. Inside, there is a complete set of machinery that remains intact. The arms of the rails and part of the fantail are still present.
