Description
No. 7 New Bedford Road is a building that was originally part of an Edwardian terrace. It is constructed from Luton grey bricks with red brick dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has a parapet with cornice moulding. It includes a canted four-light bay window with a flat roof on the first and second floors, and a red brick band at the first floor level. The windows have high-level transoms, and the upper lights are adorned with stained glass depicting musical instruments. The original shop front is still intact, featuring an entrance doorway and window, with flanking piers decorated with green, brown, and yellow ceramic tiles that depict musical instruments in various groupings, presented in the form of garlanded and ribboned trophies.
