Description
This is a two-story building on Shortmead Street, dating from the 19th century, though it incorporates elements of an earlier timber-framed structure. The front facade has been refaced with colourwashed roughcast. It has a slate roof. The windows include two Yorkshire casements with glazing bars, and a more recent replacement casement. The ground floor features a sash window with glazing bars and a continuous cornice above a doorway, a central modern casement also with a cornice and a door, and remnants of a 19th century shop front to the right. The building is listed for its group value.
