Description
No. 15 Shortmead Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a front wing with an earlier timber-framed wing at the back. It is two storeys high and has a facade made of colourwashed brick. The building includes three sash windows and retains its original double-fronted shop front, which has canted windows set on brick bases, measuring six panes wide and four panes high, with a projection of one pane deep. There is a central recessed glazed door with a fanlight above, and steps leading up to it. The shop front is topped with an overall fascia and cornice, and the building is capped by a hipped slate roof.
