Description

This building is the outbuilding of the Old Sugar Loaf Hotel, located on the south side of No 44 High Street North. It dates from the 18th century but has been altered in the 19th century. The structure is made of plum-coloured brick with red brick dressings and features a first-floor band. It has a Welsh slated roof with a dentil cornice. The building is two storeys high and has three first-floor flush casement windows. There is a modern shop display front and a carriageway on the left side. This outbuilding is included for its group value with Nos 36A and 36 to 48 (even).
