Description
No. 34 Court Road is a house from the 18th century, possibly with origins in the 17th century. It features colourwashed roughcast render over a timber-framed structure and has an asbestos tile roof. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys. The main block is to the south with a gable end facing the road.
On the south elevation, there is a 19th-century canted bay window on the right side of the ground floor, a casement window on the left side of the ground floor, and two casements below the eaves on the first floor. The casements vary in size and have different glazing bars. A rendered brick stack is located at the central ridge.
The road elevation shows that the left gable has a three-light window with glazing bars on each floor, and an eight-panel door is situated under a small gabled hood on the right side. The right block has two three-light casements on the ground floor and two two-light casements on the first floor, all featuring glazing bars. There is also an external stack on the right gable end.
