29 Market Square is a building that has undergone 19th-century alterations to an earlier structure. The front is finished in stucco, while the back elevation features exposed timber framing. It has a Welsh slated roof with a panelled cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and includes quoins and a sill band on the second floor. There are two sash windows with architrave surrounds, and a modern shop window projects from the front.
