Description

Studhamhall Farmhouse is a building dating from the 16th century or possibly earlier, although it has been significantly modernised externally. It features a long range of two storeys and attics, topped with an old clay tile roof and modern casement windows. The ground floor is constructed of brick and jettied, while the first floor consists of brick infilled timber frame. There may be a hall with an external stack located at the left-hand rear of the building. Inside, the farmhouse retains much of its timber framing, with many moulded beams, a complex roof structure, and panelled rooms.
