Description
The Church of St Mary is a Grade I listed building located in Studham, Church End. It features flint rubble and Totternhoe stone with cement rendering. The church has impressive early 13th-century arcades consisting of four bays, showcasing three types of capitals: scalloped, foliated, and moulded. The chancel, aisles, clerestorey, and west tower are designed in the Perpendicular style and are quite plain. Early 19th-century repairs included the addition of a vestry. Inside, there is a 13th-century font decorated with a band of leaves and dragons around the upper part. The chancel window is adorned with Kempe glass, installed in 1903.
