Description

No. 97 High Street, known as Green Gables, is a 17th-century T-plan timber-framed farmhouse featuring plaster infill. The building stands two storeys tall and is topped with an old clay tile roof. The windows are modern lattice casements. A central heavy red brick chimney stack is present, and there is a projecting gabled wing facing the road, which has a south elevation adorned with 19th-century mock timber-framing.
