Description

The dovecote located to the south-east of Sandye Place is a circular structure made of ironstone, believed to date from the early 20th century when the house was owned by Walter Graves, a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects. It features a conical roof covered with clay tiles and topped with a cupola. The dovecote has three tiers of dove-holes and is adorned with a weathervane. The entrance includes a three-piece door lintel, each section decorated with a medallion depicting, from left to right, a pair of peacocks, the letter "C," and a pair of swans.
