Description

This pair of 18th-century buildings occupies a prominent position on the north side of High Street. They are constructed of red brick, notable for some vitrified headers. The roof is covered with old clay tiles. The buildings feature four double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A modern shop front occupies the left-hand side. The double shop front on the right retains 19th-century pilasters, although the fascia, windows, and doors are modern replacements. The buildings are listed for their group value within the streetscape.
