Description

The entrance archway to the courtyard and adjoining garage buildings at Turvey House dates from the late 18th century. It is rendered and features a cornice and blocking course. The archway has a large segmented headed design. Attached to it is a single-storey garage building, which was originally an outhouse and constructed in a similar style. The design reflects the influence of Sir John Soane.
