Description
80a High Street is a former house built in the 17th century that has been converted into commercial premises. The building features a plain tiled roof and rendered walls. It is rectangular in shape and faces east towards High Street.
The structure stands two and a half storeys tall, topped by a pitched plain tiled roof. There is a box dormer on the roof that contains a three-over-three pane timber sash window, which was replaced around 2015. On the first floor, there is an eight-over-eight pane timber sash window, also replaced around 2015. The late 19th-century shopfront underwent significant restoration around 2015, featuring a fascia supported by console brackets, alongside three panelled pilasters that frame three display windows above a low stallriser and a recessed glazed door. Additionally, a plain flat-arched window was added to the right of the shopfront around 2015, replacing a former door.
