Description

Swan Cottage is a former inn dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, with later 20th-century extensions. The original building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring a thatched roof and brick buttresses. It includes an integral gable end stack at the east and a single-sided central stack. A modern gable end is visible at the western road frontage. The cottage is one storey high with attics. At the east end is a single ground floor window with three lights and glazing bars. A small extension, built of stone and brick, is located to the west, featuring a single three-light ground floor window and a dormer.
