Description
Ivy Cottage is an 18th-century building that was originally a pair of houses facing Hinwick House but is now a single residence. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble and features a clay tile roof with stone gable coping. It stands two storeys tall.
On the north elevation, there are four 3-light casement windows on each floor. The windows on the eastern side have glazing bars, while those on the western side have a central light with glazing bars flanked by leaded lights. A projecting stone string course runs along the first-floor window cill level.
The south elevation includes one first-floor casement window with glazing bars, and the ground floor has a 20th-century door and window on the left-hand side. There is also a one-storey lean-to on the right side, covered with a clay pantile roof.
