Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th century house with a partially destroyed datestone that appears to date from 175?. It features a later rear wing and is constructed of coursed limestone rubble. The building has a concrete pantile roof and is designed in an L-plan layout. The main wing has one storey and attics, with a lean-to bay on the left side that includes a 20th century shop window and doorway. The right side has a three-light casement window with glazing bars. The rear wing is two storeys tall and has 20th century windows and a doorway set within brick surrounds.
