Description

Rosedene is a row of three houses, now two, located in Podington, with datestones indicating construction in 1790 and 1892. The houses are primarily made of coursed limestone rubble, although significant parts of the southern elevation of number 6 have been rebuilt in brick. They feature a corrugated iron roof with bargeboards on the western gable end. The buildings are two storeys tall, with each house slightly differing in height, stepping down from east to west. The northern elevation facing the road has one central first floor casement window with glazing bars. The ground floor includes one three-light casement window, two two-light casement windows, and a small fixed light window. The southern elevation has seven first floor windows and nine ground floor windows, mostly from the 20th century. The property is included for its group value.
