Description

43 High Street is a three-storey commercial building that was re-fronted around 1835, with the shopfront replaced in the mid-20th century. The building has a rectangular plan and faces west towards High Street. Its roof is covered with Welsh slate, and the walls are finished in stucco. The front elevation features two bays and has a pitched roof with oversailing eaves that connect to the adjacent building at 45 High Street. The first and second floors have casement windows set within architrave surrounds, which were likely replaced in the late 19th century or early 20th century.
