Description
The Old Grooms Cottage is an 18th-century house that shows signs of earlier timber-framed construction. It is built of red brick and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys; the first floor includes a three-light lattice casement window and a single-light casement window, both with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows and one horizontal sash window, all also with glazing bars. A thatched canopy covers the door. To the left, there is a one-storey thatched lean-to, while to the right, there is a one-storey extension made of red brick with a thatched roof, which includes a projecting red brick wing topped with an old clay tile roof.
