Description

This is an early 17th-century cottage, dated 1606 on a gable end facing the street. It is built of coarse limestone rubble and has a thatched roof. There are two chimney stacks, one of brick and one of stone. The cottage follows a simple two-room plan with a small gabled cross-wing projecting from the east side. It has one storey plus attics. The west elevation features two three-light casement windows, each with a wooden lintel.
