Description

Forge Cottage is an 18th-century former smithy. It has a timber frame with colourwashed plaster on a brick plinth, and an old clay tile roof. Two gable-end brick stacks are present. The cottage is two storeys high. The first floor has three side-sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has three modern windows set into larger openings. A small, colourwashed brick extension with an old clay tile roof adjoins the left-hand side.
