Description
Nos. 255, 256, and 257 on Old Harrowden Road are three cottages that may have originally been one house, dating from the 18th century. They feature a pebbledash render over a timber frame and have a hipped roof covered with old clay tiles. The cottages have a three- or four-room layout and are two storeys high. On the ground floor, there are two three-light and one two-light casement windows, while the first floor has four two-light casement windows, all with glazing bars. The cottages have three plank doors, with No. 255 featuring a wooden open gabled porch. There is a red brick multiple ridge stack on the right side and a red brick external stack on the west side. Additionally, there are weatherboarded and tiled single-storey additions to the east.
