Description

Middle Friars Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with some late 19th-century alterations. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a tiled roof. The building has two framed bays aligned northwest to southeast, with a stack on the south gable end. It is one storey high with a gable-lit attic. There is one window in the left-hand corner, which is a 2-light casement, and the entrance to the right has a half-glazed door. The framing consists of three square panels high with straight angle braces, and the gable truss has two struts to the collar. The farmhouse is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Friar's Farmhouse.
