Description

This is an early 18th-century barn, with some alterations from the mid-19th century. It is located about 10 metres west of Hoarstone Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of brick on a sandstone plinth and has a tile roof with brick coped verges. It has five roof bays, a central threshing floor with a full-height entrance, and is flanked by circular pitching holes. Ventilation slits are present in all walls.
