Description

Gates, gate piers, and railings to the south of the Church of St Mary and All Saints are modern copies of 18th-century wrought iron gates. There are four rusticated gate piers that have been rebuilt on older stone plinth walls, featuring iron crests. The outer piers include foot gates and iron standard railings on the wall. The central carriage gates are adorned with an elaborate overthrow and are accessed by six steps. This structure is included as an interesting reproduction of the original design on older stonework.
