Description

No. 12 Church Street is a building dating from around 1600. It features a timber-frame structure with plaster infill and stands two storeys high with attics. The upper storey extends out over a plain bressumer, supported by moulded consoles. On both storeys, there are two restored latticed 4-light shallow canted windows, which are also set on moulded console brackets. The two lower windows and the central doorcase are framed by the consoles that support the bressumer. The building has two gabled dormers, each with leaded 3-light windows, and is topped with machine tiles. The central door consists of two panels.
