Description
Droitwich Lodge to Westwood Park is a lodge built in the mid- to late 19th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has plain tiled roofs that are hipped on the right-hand return and the rear left. The building has an L-plan layout and includes a central chimney along with two rear external chimneys, all topped with tall diagonal shafts. It is a single-storey structure set on an ashlar plinth.
The south front elevation has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with a gabled break on the left side that showcases pierced scalloped bargeboards. There is a gabled porch that is diagonally set in the angle of the building, with windows featuring 20th-century leaded lights. To the left of the porch, there is a hipped oriel beneath the gable end, and on the right side, a three-light casement window. The porch itself has a Tudor-arched doorway and a loophole in the apex. At the rear left of the lodge, there are two single-storey extensions, each with hipped roofs.
