Description

The Church of St Peter is a parish church that dates back to the Norman period. It consists of a nave, chancel, and transepts. The chancel is from the 13th century, while the south transept features three stepped lancet lights. The north transept is decorated and includes a window with reticulated tracery. The clerestory, built in the mid-15th century, is timber-framed. The west tower is designed in the Perpendicular style. Inside, there is a Jacobean font and a notable monument from 1616.
