Description

St Peter’s Manor is an early 17th-century timber-frame and plaster house. It is a regular building of two storeys and attics. The front features three restored, moulded wood transomed-mullioned eight-light windows. A shallow tiled pentice roof extends along the first floor, projecting frontally over a modern doorway built in an early 17th-century style. There are three gables, each with a three-light window, modern bargeboards, and finials. A stone stack is located to the side, rebuilt in brick above its original height. Modern or restored moulded brick stacks are present elsewhere. The roof is covered in machine tiles. The house was formerly the residence of Dr Nash, a Worcestershire historian and editor of Samuel Butler’s "Hudibras."
