Barnhill Farmhouse is an L-shaped building with a 17th-century gabled wing featuring stone mullion windows and dripmoulds. The main section of the farmhouse dates from the 18th century and includes wooden casements. The roof is covered with machine tiles and has a hipped dormer. Barnhill Farmhouse is part of a group that includes Fir Tree House, Old Post Office, Appledene, Tudor Cottage, and Holly Cottage.
