Description

Horton Farmhouse is an L-shaped building located on Henfield Road in Upper Beeding. The farmhouse features a small timber-framed section at the back, dating from the 17th century or earlier, which has a pentice roof made of Horsham slabs. The main wing of the house is from the early 19th century and consists of two storeys and an attic in the gable ends. It has three windows and is faced with cobbles, showcasing long and short window surrounds, quoins, and a modillion eaves cornice made of red brick. The roof is mansarded and tiled, with intact glazing bars. There is a 19th-century porch at the entrance.
