North Cottage and Shalom is a restored 17th century or earlier timber-framed building located in Upper Beeding on Hyde Street. It features plaster infilling and curved braces, with the south wall partly refaced using flints and tile-hanging. The building has a hipped roof covered with Horsham slabs and includes casement windows. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows.
