Description

Nos 42 and 44 on Friar Street are a pair of late 18th-century buildings. They are two storeys high and have six windows. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature unbarred mullion transom casements with cambered heads. There are two doors with fielded panels, each topped with simple hoods supported by heavy brackets. The right-hand door has a moulded wood case. Together with Nos 36 to 44, they create a cohesive architectural group.
