Description

Elm Cottage is an early 17th century timber-frame and plaster building. It is a single-storey cottage with attics. The south gabled end is constructed of 17th century brick on stone foundations, featuring angle dressings and two blocked lights within stone openings. The fenestration and doorcase are modern. Elm Cottage is part of a group which includes Vine Cottage, The Wergs, Columbary House, an outbuilding to the rear of Columbary House, and Quice Cottage.
