Description

The Wergs is a late 16th century building constructed with a timber frame and plaster on stone foundations. It is a single storey structure with attics and features modern casements. A large gabled central dormer with a plaster cove is prominent, and the roof is thatched. There are also modern additions to the building. The Wergs is part of a group that includes Elm Cottage, Vine Cottage, Columbary House, an outbuilding to the rear of Columbary House, and Quice Cottage.
