Description

This is a late 18th-century building on the west side of High Street, comprising two properties, numbers 3 and 5. It is constructed of red brick with long and short stone chamfered quoins at the sides. The building is three storeys high and features sash windows with keyblocks and channelled lintels. A canted oriel window is present on the right-hand side. A parapet tops the facade. A modern shop front obscures the original detailing. Numbers 3 to 11 (the odd numbers) form a notable group of buildings.
