Description

The Village Hall in Elmley Castle is a building with origins dating back to the 14th century, although much of its structure is from the 16th century. It stands two stories tall, with the upper part made of tiles, timber frame, and plaster, while the lower section is constructed of coursed stone. The hall features three restored moulded wood mullion and transom six-light windows, and it has a modern entrance. The building has gabled ends, with the north end connected to an adjoining structure. The south end is made of stone and includes a four-light stone mullion window, along with old tiles. This Village Hall is part of a group of listed buildings along Main Street (East Side).
