Description

Park Cottage is a 16th-century timber-frame building, partly of painted brick and plaster construction. It is a single-storey cottage with attics, and features a modern doorcase with a weather hood, and modern casement windows. The gables are covered with old tiles, and there is one gabled dormer window. The cottage occupies a corner position and has a later brick wing at the rear, facing the road. It has group value, forming a group with Queen Elizabeth I's Arms Public House, and several other cottages including Cottage next to Park Cottage, Hill Cottage, Bridge Cottage in Hill Lane, The Old Smithy, Drakely Cottage and the cottage north of Drakely Cottage Farm.
